Legacies
You may wish to leave a legacy to Open Door in your will. We aim to use these for specific projects.
The value of charitable legacies is deducted from your estate for Inheritance Tax, so may reduce the amount of tax payable.
We advise you to talk to a solicitor when making or changing your will.

We can claim Gift Aid on your donation to Open Door. For every pound you give, we can claim an extra 25p
If you’re a UK tax payer we can reclaim the basic rate tax (25%) on your gift. This means if you donate £100 to Open Door, with Gift Aid it would be worth £125.
